2-days Orientation Programme

Sorry for late uploading.. I borrowed my friend's laptop..

Here are the account of that day's orientation programme..
Named COMMUNITY RACE..
We took off from Raffles institution, and board MRT, buses, and on-foot all over the journey, around a few parts of Singapore...

Here are the pictures with details of it..

ME and EuJune on bus..
Sorry for the upside-down picture..
Hehe..

Scholars from Parry Hall, Nanyang Girls, Victoria Hall, Temasik, St. Joseph Institution, Hwa Chong Institution and others are lining up, to be divided into groups for the race..

Can you identify me??
Eh?? Can you??

OF COURSE NOT!! I'm taking this picture duh...

We in the auditorium or hall or kinda thing, listening on the race briefing, by Dy, from Thailand, a guy who is married and has 2 kids if Im not mistaken.. He's the best speaker I've ever seen..
Super duper humourous, and every sentence he says it will make people laughs.. Cool aye??
And he's super friendly..
HE's actual name is 'Kitratiprasan Kanaphat'..

Me and group, Group 4 taking off, this picture we're still in Raffles, going out to the real world..
REal world?! Is there a fake world?!
The 2 bulky guys behind are (left) Vipul from India and (right) Jim from Philipines..

We finally outside the 'real' world.. We met the other group, Group 6.. And this picture its participant of 2 groups..

MRT!!
Bishan Station..

MRT- inside-the-station-view..
That's the plaform.. Saying 'Bishan'..

Before this picture, we went to Toa Payoh Community Central and Toa Payoh Sports Hall, we did some tasks, quite fun..

And in this picture we're at Toa Payoh dunno-what-dunno-what..
And in this task, we gotta buy 5 items, toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, shower gel, CC batteries, in a 5dollars budget..
Super hard, everything so expensive, in the end we got only 3 items: shampoo, CC batteries, toothbrush..

Then we went to ChinaTown!!! WooHoo!! Quite pack with... People of course!! =.= HAd lunch there, quite expensive too, I bought Keoy Teow, S$4, luckily sponsored by Trybe.. ^^ And we're the 3rd team to arrived..
We had an one-hour limit for luch, then we gotta take off to the other station.. BEfore leaving, we discuss about where to go afterwards..

2 places to choose, Orchard Road or Little India.. In the end we chose Little India which consists of Little India (duh.. =.=), Bugis Street and Sim Lim Square..

We at Little India, whoa.. wondering what's that?? ITs a task-to-do, 2 members need to draw henna on 2 members.. On any part of the body preferred by the 'costumer'..
*Henna is an Indian art, like a tatto, by it can be washed off.. I heard afterwards from my Indian friend, Vipul that it is a mixture of coffee powder, spices, flour and blablabla.. Its half liqiud-solid when coming out, but will turn quite solid when dried up..*
We spent few 10 minutes doing this task, and then we're good to
go^^

Bugis Street!!
You know Pasar Malam??
Yea, multiply Pasar Malam by 4, and you'll get roughly this Bugis Street.. Then there's also a Bugis Street Mall or something like that.. It had 2 level, and inside it's as similar as Bugis Street..
About the people, multiply Gurney Plaza's customer by 3, and you'll get GPx3 in Pasar Malamx4..
Cool aye?? And its super duper incerdibly packed..

Then we went to Sim Lim Square, cool place, imagine Gurney
Plaza, multiply the people by 2.. And you'll get the poeple here..
WAit.........
Its not exactly a normal mall, but its not actually abnormal too, but its quite special.. Why??
LEt me explain: Ok, now, imagine Gurney Plaza again, and the items sold there, throw everything away, and replace them with all kinds of electronic device.. IPod, laptop, phones, micrphone, camera, webcam, television, games, headphone, memory card, charger.........
YEa, you got it right!! Its a mall selling entirely technologies!! Cool place!! And its the best place if you wanna buy devices, cheap and great..

On MRT again, exhausted, tired, weary..
On the way back, we got what placing you guess??
Last place!!
Haha.. But we dint care much about it..
The point is we have fun^^

2nd day of the great orientation programme!!
Today we had all indoor activities, learning on cultural stuff, teamwork, communication, respect blablabla..
It was the best^^

=.=
Dint on the flash.. So dark..
Never mind then, I'll tell you what's in it..
We're in Hwa Chong Institution Hall, and learning a cute dance, if got chance I wanna introduce to EPCOM^^

Dance again!!

After the cool warming up, we had some briefing..
Then we hAd a break.
Eating what you know?? Doughnuts!!!!
Super sweet..

While having the break, I took this picture..
Wondering: what were those facilitators doing outside?? Hmm.. Planning on the programme afterwards??

Activity named: Alligater River Story!!
Hmm..
Lazy to explain..

We doing on our own paper..
Lazy to explain again..

BEfore the below picture, we had another cool great super programme, named Albertross..
Its so special and cool.. Not lazy to explain now!!
But dunno how to explain.. Too many things and details to say on..
Maybe next time..
If got chance I also wanna introduce it to EPCOM^^

Then we board a bus, left Hwa Chong and went to SErangoon dunno-where-dunno-where..
We had a programme, by 4 speakers, named
-Timothy Liew, a financial planner from JB, around 30,
-Neli from New Zealand, a musicians, around 28,
-Czarina from Philipines, uni student studying at Nanyang Technology University, and
-Aditya from India, also uni student also studying at the same uni

And it was superb!!
They talked about their testimony, the time when they 1st came to Singapore, and difficulties faced, good achievements, problems, results, blablabla..
And it gave everyone a hope, that its not just them that is having problems, but everyone is facing the same thing..
WE just gonna preservere.
*And trust in God*

Then we had the best dinner in the previous few days.. Buffet under an open-spaced-opening... At the top floor of the building.. And if you look up, you can see the stars.. So romantic!! KAkaz.
I had a great deal of food... And so full..
Then every group shared among ourselves about wht we learned..

Photographing time^^
